John has been working in the construction industry since the late 1990’s. While attending Villanova University, John worked as a Carpenter’s assistant on a construction remodeling crew in Boston.  Moving to New Jersey in the Fall of 1999 for his first teaching position, John trained as a Home Inspector with Home Team assisting in over 500 inspections between 2000-2001.  In 2001, he became an assistant project manager for Mayo Lynch Associates in Secaucus New Jersey. John worked on several commercial projects including the North Bergen Elementary School Renovation Project and the John F Kennedy High School project in Patterson, New Jersey.

As a High School teacher, Head Varsity Hockey coach and FTA Negotiator, John prides himself as a highly effective communicator who offers an inspection experience which is clear and professional.  John adapts his presentation to suit to the knowledge base of the individual clients he works for.

Moving to Massachusetts in the Fall of 2003, John continued his training as a Home Inspector and obtained his Massachusetts inspection license in 2005.  He has been inspecting homes and commercial properties ever since.  As a member of ASHI (ACI), John constantly pursues education to increase his knowledge in the construction field. He currently serves on the ASHINE Education Committee. In addition to inspection work, John is also a Real Estate developer and investor. Working on the development side of the building industry keeps John close to the latest techniques and practices of the industry. John has completed several development projects ranging from full gut renovations of 100 year old homes to new construction of multi-family dwellings and large scale additions.    John resides in Belmont with his wife Kellie and his four sons Jack, Sean, Owen and Ryan.
